ASD Group Programs

Who is this workshop for? This program is designed for neurodiverse gamers and their families. It's a good fit for families where our gamer is 10-25 years old, and requires more support in group settings.

It is typically for those on the autism spectrum, who might need more support than what our standard programs have the capacity for. This program has a modified format. The program takes place over a weekend and has followup sessions to help keep the family on track. The weekend format covers all the essential content needed to foster positive change at home, with the support of an extra staff member to ensure a 1:5 ratio for participants. Family members join the fun in the afternoon to take part in the process. All families also receive permanent access to the online resource to help stay on track. Programs can be face to face or online.

Families receive:

• Full programs have 2 facilitators to maintain a 1:5 ratio
• Flexibility to bring extra support workers to suit different needs
• One parents-only Zoom session on Friday night at 7:00pm
• 10:00-3:30/4:00 Saturday and Sunday for the gamers
• Parents join the group at 2:00pm each day
• Followup check-in sessions
• Online resource access
• workbooks for reflection and consolidating learning
• Includes social gaming sessions each day

    • Rocket League (PC, XBOX, PS4, Switch)
    • Among us (PC, mobile phone)
    • Acron: Attack of the Squirrels (Mobile and VR)
    • Minecraft (Java version, optional)
